Always and Failover Forwarding

Vestalink has two basic forwarding methods for transferring incoming calls to another number. Always Forward and Failover Forward

To activate either of these forwarding methods, click on the Settings page of your web portal. The Settings page can be found under the Account tab.

First specify the number you want to forward your calls to in the Call Forward Number field and then select the Forward Strategy below.
 

When the web portal refreshes it will save your Forward Number and Strategy.

Always Forward - When active, incoming calls will go directly to the number you specify in Call Forward Number without ringing your home phone at all. 

Failover Forward -  When active, incoming calls will go to the number you specify in Call Forward Number whenever our servers detect your device or devices as disconnected.

Disable Forward - Will deactivate the forward but allows you to keep that Call Forward Number saved on the Settings age.
